Tuburan LGU Recognized for Excellence in Digital Governance

The Municipality of Tuburan, under the dynamic leadership of Mayor Christian Daniel B. Diamante and Vice Mayor Danilo Diamante, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members and dedicated LGU employees, proudly received a Plaque of Recognition for Excellence in Digital Governance.

This prestigious honor was bestowed for Tuburan’s outstanding dedication to digital transformation and public service, as demonstrated through its active and effective utilization of the eLGU System of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

The award was presented during the EGOV-eLGU Summit held on October 28, 2025, at The Mezzo Hotel, Cebu City, followed by the EGOVPH App and eLGU Roadshow on October 29, 2025, where LGUs across the region shared their best practices and innovations in digital governance.

Mayor Christian Daniel B. Diamante emphasized that this recognition is not only a milestone of progress but also a continuation of Tuburan’s unwavering commitment to good governance and innovation—a legacy initiated by his father, former Mayor Democrito “Aljun” M. Diamante, whose vision for a modern, transparent, and people-centered government continues to guide the municipality today.

Vice Mayor Danilo Diamante likewise commended the teamwork, discipline, and dedication of all LGU employees, whose shared efforts made this achievement possible.
