The 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒐 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑩𝑨𝑼𝑭𝑨) harvested its first batch of organically grown cucumbers today under the 𝐋𝐆𝐔-𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Implemented by the 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 (𝑴𝑨𝑶), headed by 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐬, the program promotes sustainable farming practices and strengthens local farmers’ capacity for organic vegetable production.

The initiative forms part of the Municipality of Tuburan’s continuing support for local farmers and efforts to strengthen food production and food security under the leadership of 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆.
