The continuing 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 has significantly affected farmers, fisherfolk, small transport operators, and other vulnerable sectors whose livelihoods depend heavily on fuel.

Following the declaration of a national energy emergency under 𝑬𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒐. 𝟏𝟏𝟎, the 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏, through the Sangguniang Bayan, adopted the national declaration and initiated measures to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable and disadvantaged sectors and families.

As part of the LGU’s response, the distribution of 𝟓-𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆 was conducted from 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, reaching 𝟐𝟐,𝟗𝟕𝟐 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 across all 54 barangays of the Municipality of Tuburan.

The initiative was implemented under the administration of 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑩. 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆, as part of the local government’s efforts to help ease the impact of rising fuel and commodity prices on Tuburanon families.
