Tuburanon athlete 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑶𝒘𝒆𝒏 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐, 46, of 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒂, 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏, 𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖, brought pride to the municipality after securing 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 (𝟖) 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 and 𝐨𝐧𝐞 (𝟏) 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 at the 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐃𝐁𝐅 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 in 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧.

Locenio competed as a member of the 𝐏𝐀𝐃𝐒 (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬) 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, earning medals in the 200-meter, 500-meter, and 1,000-meter events in both the small and long boat categories.

On 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Locenio paid a courtesy call at the Office of 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆, where he presented his medals and shared his recent international achievement.

The players also prayed for the blessing and intercession of Tuburan’s beloved patron saint, San Antonio de Padua, as they prepare to take on the court.

The weekly 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚, held every Thursday, features a Zumba session and recreational activities that encourage employees to stay active, promote well-being, and strengthen camaraderie among different LGU departments.

The 𝑳𝑮𝑼 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏 employees from various departments gathered today, October 1, 2026, for a friendly 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 as part of the celebration of the 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒕. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔.
