STREET AND COASTAL CLEAN-UP Drive
May 1, 2012 was supposed to be a national holiday but the local government of Tuburan organized a street and coastal general clean-up in the Poblacion Barangay held that very day. Starting early at 5 until 10 in the morning, everyone enjoyed the humanitarian act of
conserving nature. Hon. Democrito M. Diamante actively led everyone. LGU Staff & Personnel, Barangay Officials, Non-Government Organizations(NGO’s), Civic Individuals joined forces in the clean-up activity. The clean-up drive hopes to serve as a message to all Tuburanons to be careful in their waste disposal. May it also be an example to everybody in maintaining cleanliness in their respective surroundings. Let everyone be strict in disciplining one`s self in waste management. A clean place is always a safe haven for living. – MJPS
