Development proposal / recommendation
WATER:
A survey of all existing springs in the barangays be made and feasibility studies generated. Then fund sourcing will follow targeting the Municipal 20% Development Fund, Provincial, Congressional, Senatorial or Presidential assistance. Domestic and foreign funding institutions shall also be topped.
POWER:
A detailed survey of the electrification needs of the barangays not energized should be made and prioritization shall be done. Cost estimates shall be computed which will be used in soliciting assistance from well-meaning NGOs and Pos.
TRANSPORTATION:
The LGU of Tuburan having purchased equipment like, Bulldozer, Grader, Backhoe, Pay loader, and four (4) dump Trucks is now capable of improving the accessibility in the planning area. Barangay roads are easily rehabilitated, and construction/ opening of additional roads can be made possible. Since most of the barangay roads are in mountainous areas, the need for box culverts in places where gulley cross the road is imperative to avoid flooding on the road, which will cause muddy surface. In connection with this, the need for an inventory of the road networks and monitoring their condition is in order.
COMMUNICATION and POSTAL FACILITIES:
: Establish the repeater tower.
: Invite private companies to establish telephone services.
: Provide each barangay Captain a VFH handheld radio set.
TOURISM:
The LGU shall organize the Tuburan Tourism Council which will be mandated to study the tourism potentials and prepare plans. Using the plans involve, the council shall proceed to fund sourcing.
These local beauty spots could serve the recreational needs of the municipal inhabitants and that of the neighboring municipalities of Tabuelan, Balamban, and Asturias. Especially the development of beaches and the identification of camping sites in Kapayas, Bacteria and Montealegre. The development and promotion of these places could generate extra income for the planning area.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT:
The Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of agriculture would work together in pursuing the above stated development goals, objectives and targets for a healthful environment under the leadership of Clean and Green Committee in which the Municipal Mayor is the Chairman, the local government officials on the one hand should implement the Zoning Ordinance and its provision for the good of the municipality and the people.
