Municipal Income

     For the years 2007 to whole 2009, the total income of the Municipality of Tuburan steadily increased from Php 63.04 million in 2007 to Php 64.58 million in 2008; noticeably increased to Php 79.21 million in 2009. The increase made the town into a second class municipality.

     Mid-year of 2010 showed an income of Php 42.19 million. An expected increase in 2011 can make the town into a first class municipality. The increase in income comes from the increase in internal revenue collection. This phenomenal growth is expected to continue in the succeeding years, for the municipality aims towards better services and more economic investments.
