Yesterday, February 26, 2024, we witnessed a heartfelt moment in the Municipality of Tuburan as we held the Inaugural Distribution of Cash Gifts to our qualified senior citizen beneficiaries under the Expanded Centenarians Act of 2024, facilitated by the National Commission of Senior Citizens.
This program was not just about financial support—it was a celebration of the love, wisdom, and contributions of our dear nanays and tatays. Various services tailored for their well-being were also made available to ensure they continue to receive the care and respect they deserve.
We were honored to be joined by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Democrito M. Diamante, SB Members, and LGU department heads, who remain committed to uplifting the lives of our senior citizens.
A special recognition was also given to Lola Epifania Camingawan of Barangay Molobolo, our centenarian, who embodies the strength and resilience of Tuburan’s elders. Her life is a testament to the values of hard work, discipline, unwavering faith.

Pasko sa Tuburan 2024
The holiday spirit came alive tonight as we officially opened Pasko sa Tuburan 2024 with a spectacular celebration filled with joy, unity, and unforgettable moments!
The evening featured the pre-judging of the Inter-Barangay Christmas Tree Contest, where creativity and community pride shone brightly.
The lighting of the Municipal Christmas Tree served as a radiant symbol of hope and joy for all Tuburanons.
Adding to the excitement was a surprise birthday celebration for Vice Mayor Danilo Diamante and Mayor Democrito Diamante—a heartfelt tribute to their leadership and dedication to Tuburan.
The official Municipal Christmas jingle, a tune destined to spread holiday cheer across the town, was also launched and performed by Tuburanon talents. Performances by talented Tuburanons showcased local artistry and passion, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and made this celebration truly special. May this mark the beginning of a meaningful and joyous holiday season for all.

Rain or shine, the spirit of devotion and determination was unstoppable! Last, November 30, 2024, in Kabangkalan, Tuburan, Cebu, more than a hundred of bikers from near and far gathered for the Sikad Halad Kang Papa Tancio Season 4.
The rain may have poured, but it only fueled the passion and resilience of our riders to reach their goal! This event stands as a testament to the strong faith, unity, and unwavering dedication of Tuburanon bikers and guests alike.

Tuburan’s Outreach Program Brings Services and Happiness Closer to the People
For the past few weeks, residents of Barangays Mag-alwa and Kabangkalan Tuburan have been reaping the benefits of the LGU Tuburan Season 13 Outreach Program, aptly tagged “bringing services and happiness closer to the people.”
This initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Aljun Diamante since 2011, has consistently been appreciated by the people of all 54 barangays in the Municipality of Tuburan. The program ensures that no one is left behind, as every Tuburanon deserves access to these public services.
The outreach program offers a wide range of benefits, including medical and dental services, as well as various government services for both children and adults.
Mayor Diamante’s administration has fostered strong collaboration with different national government agencies, who actively participate and support this unique government service.
Looking ahead, the upcoming Mayor of the Municipality, Christian Daniel “CD” Diamante, has already pledged his support for the program initiated by his father. He has promised to continue and enhance the program, making it even more meaningful for his constituents with the help of the people of Tuburan.
