Educational Program
Education is important even before, now and in the future. The administration headed by Hon. Democrito M. Diamante, strongly believes that education is an influential factor in its quest for progress and development. Thus, the local government officials give great emphasis on the educational status and identified the educational needs of its constituents.
Among the plans of promoting education is the opening of school sites in the secondary level most especially in the remote barangays. The availability of secondary level of instruction encourages both the parents and the students to pursue higher learning as to meet the goal standard of education in the country.
Meanwhile, Barangay Kalangahan and Barangay Kansi, located in the highland part of Tuburan, now have their own secondary school in their respective place.
Last year, the municipal mayor also personally attended to the giving of school bags to some of the elementary schools. A total of 10,946 school bags were given to all the elementary pupils all over Tuburan. The unexpected present brought great joy to the children and also to the parents by the generous act of Hon. Aljun Diamante just in time for the start of the school year.
