Night of the Stars

This year`s annual cultural celebration would not be complete without the presence of the three (3) young yet famous and talented artists of ABS-CBN. They were specially requested to entertain and provide great fun to everyone during the finale night of the cultural presentations.
The three guest performers were Akiko Solon, Matteo Guidicelli and Daniel Padilla (Daniel was personally escorted by his beautiful mom Carla Estrada).
People started to mill around the Tuburan Covered Court as early as 5:00 o`clock in the afternoon to find a comfortable strategic place during the show. They endured the long hours of waiting just to see their TV idols face to face.
Akiko Solon rendered four beautiful songs while Matteo Guidicelli and Daniel Padilla sang three songs that made the whole crowd went wild cheering for their matinee idols. The songs that they rendered happened to be everyone`s favorite thus, eliciting overflowing response from the crowd.
The crowd was so attentive and responsive during the performances. The guest performers gave their best performance during the show. A great deal of appreciation was accorded to the performers by the crowd as they shouted, sang along, and applauded vibrantly. Even before the show started, a mere sight on the faces of the invited artists on the AVP being played on screen generated an ear breaking clamor from the crowd.
The NEW FRIENDS, a dance group from Minglanilla, Cebu also added delight to the show by showing three extraordinary dance performances. The dance group was a grand finalist of the noontime show entitled “It`s SHOWTIME”.
Meanwhile, two local live bands were also performing simultaneously at the Tuburan Boulevard.
The success of the night was manifested in the beaming smiles and laughters on the viewers` faces who were able to realize one of their grandest dreams – A NIGHT WITH THE STARS.-MJPS
