Successful Outreach Program Conducted in Barangay Colonia Tuburan, Cebu

Early today, November 5, 2024, Barangay Colonia Tuburan witnessed another successful outreach program, part of the ongoing weekly Public Service initiative that has been consistently providing various services to the Barangays of the Municipality of Tuburan every Tuesday since 2011. This initiative, known as the LGU Tuburan Season 13 Outreach Program, headed by Tuburan Mayor Aljun Diamante and aims to “Bring Services Closer to the People.”

The event was organized by local officials, including Tuburan Vice Mayor Danny Diamante and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan. Among the attendees were 3rd District Board Member Atty. Jimbo Borgonia, Tuburan Municipal Councilor Lorence Lagon, and Ms. Carissa Garcia, daughter of Cebu Provincial Governor Gwen Garcia and the 2nd Nominee of the Ako Bisaya Partylist.

Residents of Barangay Colonia benefited from a variety of services, including free medical services provided by RHU 1 under Dr. Carmina Gemma Faunilian, dental services from Dr. Godoy, and free medicine from LGU Tuburan. Additionally, Municipal Administrator Atty. Rodulfo Dacalos Jr. offered free legal services, along with other services from various departments of the Tuburan Local Government Unit.

Over 300 residents took advantage of these services, which were tailored to meet the needs of the constituents of Barangay Colonia Tuburan. In his welcome message, Barangay Captain and ABC President Kap Odie Diamante expressed gratitude to the leaders of Tuburan for their continued support of the Tuburanons since 2011, highlighting that the community continues to benefit from sincere public service.
