Brgy. Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) Program Seminar
Spearheaded by the Ms. Cecille C. Belcina, DILG Personnel, LGU Tuburan, the activity was designed for Brgy. Captains, Kagawad, Secretary, and Treasurers in all Fifty-four barangays in the municipality. In order to ensure effective conduct of the seminar, the participants were grouped into three, with eighteen barangays for every group. Each group was assigned corresponding dates with the same venue, the CTU, Tuburan Campus AV Room.
The aforementioned BNEO Training aimed to give orientation to the new barangay officials concerning Brgy. Governance and administration, Brgy. Fiscal Administration, as well as the promotion of Transparency and Participation in the conduct of government transactions. On the whole, it purported to enhance the competencies of Brgy. Officials on the rudiments of Barangay governance and administration.
To make the Training viable and effective, a host of Speakers was invited, specifically the DILG Personnel from identified local government units. Mr. Elnie R. Ancheta (Pinamungahan) and Ms. Belinda Labayan, (Balamban), lectured on Barangay Governance and Administration. Mr. Melbourne Navales (Aluguinsan) and Ms. Cerlita M. Robillos (Asturias), tackled on the topic Barangay Fiscal Administration. Meanwhile Ms. Gloria D. Pacampana (Toledo City) delivered a thorough discussion on Brgy. Legislation & Parliamantary Rules and Procedures, Meetings and Sessions. She also gave an Overviews of the KP Law & Tanod Professionalism. Ms.Cecille C. Belcina (Tuburan) discussed on Enhancing Performance through Accountability and Transparency. She mentioned the importance of formulating the Citizen Charter in LGUs, among others.
Blessing of the Passenger type Multicab (ANAD)
Acquired through the efforts of Congressman Pastor M. Alcover, Jr., ANAD Partylist Representative, this vehicle serves to provide transportation to personnel on official business. It also caters to the transportation needs of residents/students/teachers, etc. during official/community functions such as Athletic Meets, Training & Seminars.
The blessing of the vehicle was officiated by Rev. Fr. Lucas Inoc, Tuburan Parish Priest.
